James and Serena Griffin - Ranch owner

A bride and an older man, possibly her father, standing together in front of a stone building with a dark wooden door. The bride is wearing a white wedding dress with floral details, a sheer veil, and holding a bouquet of pale pink and white flowers. The man is dressed in a dark suit with a white shirt and a light-colored cowboy hat. Both are smiling.

James "Griff" and Serena Griffin are the owners of JSG Ranch, a place built on family, hard work, and a deep appreciation for the Western way of life. With Serena's parents living nearby, the ranch is a gathering place where family, friends, and community come together to enjoy the beauty of country living.

As a seventh-generation Colorado native, Serena has deep roots in the state and a genuine passion for the communities she serves. As a local real estate agent, she is dedicated to helping others find their perfect place to call home while sharing her knowledge and love of the Western Slope. Griff works in the oilfield and brings a strong work ethic and dedication to everything he does, both on the job and at the ranch.

Together, Griff and Serena have created JSG Ranch as a reflection of the values they hold dear; family, community, stewardship of the land, and meaningful connections with others. Whether they're caring for the ranch, hosting friends and family, or pursuing their careers, they are committed to creating a life rooted in authenticity, hospitality, and the traditions they love.

Mallory Foster

Meet Mallory!!!!!

Horse lover, animal whisperer, and proof that patience is a virtue. She somehow manages to own both the biggest horse and the smallest horse on the ranch, because apparently moderation isn't her thing.

When she's not working harder than everyone else, she's running her dog grooming business and spoiling just about every four-legged creature she encounters. Mallory absolutely adores animals and... well... she tolerates people.

She's loyal, hilarious, fiercely hardworking, and always ready to lend a hand. Life with Mallory is never boring, and honestly, we wouldn't have it any other way.

Eliza Wetzel

A young woman in a graduation gown and white dress, holding a photo collage, standing in front of a fountain with water cascading down rocks, smiling at the camera.

Eliza Wetzel is the creative force behind Great Divide Ranch's marketing and serves as the Director of Operations for the Great Divide Group real estate team. A graduate of Colorado Mesa University with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing, she combines creativity, organization, and a passion for storytelling to help showcase everything the ranch has to offer.

When she's not creating content, managing projects, or keeping things running behind the scenes, you'll likely find her around the ranch spending time with the animals. An animal lover through and through, Eliza has never met a creature she didn't want to befriend, whether it has two legs, four legs, feathers, or fur.

Known for bringing a little extra fun wherever she goes, Eliza can often be found convincing Serena and Griff's horses to participate in her latest silly adventure, photo opportunity, or social media idea. Her love for animals, marketing, and creating memorable experiences helps bring the personality and spirit of Great Divide Ranch to life.

Rick and Tona Goering are the proud parents of Great Divide Ranch owner Serena Goering-Griffin and have been a constant source of support, encouragement, and inspiration throughout her journey. As 6th generation Colorado Western Slope natives, their deep roots in the region and love for the western lifestyle helped shape the values that Great Divide Ranch is built upon today.

As residents of the ranch, Rick and Tona enjoy being part of the close-knit community that makes the property so special. They love welcoming visitors, sharing stories, and watching the ranch continue to grow as a place where people can gather, connect, and create lasting memories.

Their dedication to family, hospitality, and preserving the traditions of ranch life has left a lasting impact on both the ranch and the people who call it home. Rick and Tona are a cherished part of the Great Divide Ranch story, helping create the warm and welcoming atmosphere that guests experience from the moment they arrive.

The Oatman Family

Patrick, Deneen, Stetson, and Oakley Oatman are an integral part of the Great Divide Ranch family. With a strong work ethic and a genuine love for ranch life, they help keep the property running smoothly through ongoing maintenance, improvements, and day-to-day care of the grounds.

Whether it's tackling projects around the ranch, maintaining facilities, or lending a hand wherever needed, the Oatman family takes great pride in helping create a welcoming, well-kept environment for both horses and people. Their dedication, reliability, and commitment to the ranch are reflected in every corner of the property.

More than just caretakers, the Oatmans are valued members of the Great Divide Ranch community, helping preserve the ranch's beauty and ensuring it remains a place where visitors, boarders, and horse enthusiasts can feel right at home.
